Slowing down a little…

Happy Monday everyone!

Our summer has slowly but surely come to an end. Nikolas is starting 1st grade next week and all I can think about is how fast time goes. For a couple of weeks now I’ve been telling myself this is a good thing for all of us. He will go back to school and have a great time learning  and I will get back to full work mode – which I have been having a hard time to do lately (our sitter stopped watching him at the end of July and it’s been very challenging to get work done with him in the studio). But than I stopped and I pondered for a moment. I will never get back this time with him. He’s growing so fast. Soon he won’t even need my help in accomplishing things. He’ll become more and more independent…

This week I decided to slow down a little and enjoy what’s left of summer. Work will always be there waiting for me next week, but this time will not.
